2021 Pinot Noir (Gevrey Chambertin)

The Gevrey Chambertin is from 40 year old vines right next to 1er cru vineyards. It has been produced in 30% new oak used though this is the palest in colour with lovely fine perfume real finesse in the finely well-laced tannins with a fresh, cherry-scented red, with flavours of briar and tobacco augmenting the fruit and dry on the finish. Very attractive style and one of the best vintages yet of the Gevrey.
